Jennifer, Owner and Pet Care Provider
I am not sure if there exists a better way to live than to dedicate your energy into the care animals. Nor a more honest living. I really love what I do, and it shows.
After about seven challenging years teaching Art in some of the best schools in and around NYC, my creative energy was sadly very low. Though I worked hard to achieve a Master Degree in Education, I walked away from the classroom, feeling entirely certain that it wasn’t my path. When a friend with a very established Dog Walking business here in Manhattan needed some managerial assistance, my interest and knowledge in the pet care industry grew. I noticed an incredible void in the quality of services that were being offered, and the animals-YES, the animals! My calling heard so clearly! Had I been able to look at blood with a stronger stomach, I would have stuck to my #1 childhood choice of growing up to be a Veterinarian. My family always lived among many cats, dogs, and various (welcomed) rodents. I adore them all, and my fascination led me to study the different breeds of animals at my leisure. I’ve always connected with animals at a profound level. Pet owners always say within the first few minutes of my meeting with their animals, in more ways than I can remember, “Wow, I have not seen him/her behave like this before-they are so crazy about you!”, even the shy or indifferent.
